If you have applied for the Associate Software Engineer or SDE 1 role at Velotio Technologies, here is the detailed path of each round and the type of questions that were asked in my interview when I applied for the Associate Software Engineer Role at the Velotio Technologies. Hope it helps.
Round 1: Online Coding Round
In this round, Online Coding will be taken. You will get the test link. The test mostly consists of,
- 2 or 3 DSA Coding Questions
- Few MCQs are also there, which are related to Computer science and programming basics. Questions are like, Choose the correct output of the given code snippet and some other basic programming concepts like OOPS, etc.
Round 2: Technical Interview 1
After Round 1, if you pass the online Assessment, you will get an email invitation for a video interview. In this interview, you will be asked technical questions related to,
- OOPS Concepts
- Database-related questions like
- Difference between SQL and NoSQL
- ACID Properties
- Basics of computer science and programming concepts, design patterns.
- And sometimes some technologies-related concepts that you have worked with a lot on your precious projects.
Questions are mostly basic. You can search interview questions for the above topics and just open the first or second link and start preparing from it.
But make sure you cover all basic core concepts. Don't just prepare the above questions and topics only. Those were asked in my interview. There can be a possibility that you may be asked questions about some other topics too. So Prepare everything and as much as you can.
Round 3: Technical Interview 2
After Round 2, if you were able to pass it, you will get an email invitation for another video interview. In this round, I was asked more about,
My college projects. They asked me to choose anyone for my college project which I thought is good and complex and explain it to them. They will ask some questions related to your project.
Some General interview questions were also asked like Tell me about yourself, What are your favorite technologies to work with and why? and some questions related to it, etc.

Round 4: Video Call DSA Coding Round
In this round, I got an invitation for another DSA coding round where I had to join the zoom call and the interviewer will ask you to share your screen and will give you 1 or 2 coding problems and you have to write your code and explain your approach to them.
This is almost everything I faced during my interview for the Associate Software Engineer role at Velotio Technologies. The interview Experience was also great.
Note: Above interview process can be different than your interview process as it was a year ago, so there can be some changes in the interview process.
