Here are the Top 5 worst-rated movies of marvel according to Rotten Tomatoes.
5. Avengers: Age of Ultron – 76%
Age of Ultron, the long-awaited sequel to 2012's Avengers film, presented one of Marvel comics' most heinous foes. However, Ultron's representation fell short of the audience's expectations. He wasn't able to thoroughly establish himself as a villain, either. Regardless, it remains an important component of the MCU saga. It cleared the groundwork for two of the most essential characters, Scarlet Witch and Vision, to emerge in later films.
4. Iron Man 2 – 72%
The sequel to the first Iron Man film appeared to follow in the same footsteps, introducing only new characters and no fresh plot. Many characters' development, particularly the villains, did not reach fulfillment or the pinnacle of their evilness. Despite this flaw, the picture performed well at the box office. This success could be attributed to the addition of new characters, specifically Black Widow and War Machine.
3. The Incredible Hulk – 67%
When Marvel launched The Incredible Hulk in 2008, they were still testing the waters. The entire MCU setup was still a novel concept, and despite the film's failure, it was included in 2012's The Avengers. Bruce Banner was likewise recast, and the Hulk is now played by Mark Ruffalo.
2. Thor: The Dark World – 66%
Unfortunately, the sequel to the Thor film trilogy is one of the most forgettable films in the MCU. Not to say it was boring or uninteresting, but there didn't appear to be any important events taking on here. The Dark World, on the other hand, served as the primary venue for presenting the Infinity Saga.
1. Eternals – 48%
Eternals, the lowest-rated film in the whole MCU collection, received the first 'rotten' rating. The film is seen as a risky venture. Other MCU films that did not include the Original Six, such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, and Ant-Man, made it to the top.
This low grade can be linked to the initial complaints leveled at the film even before it was released in theatres. Hopefully, these characters will find salvation in the upcoming MCU flicks.
